An awesome showcase of what the PS5 is capable of. Whilst this is technically a "tech demo", it has been crafted with so much care & love that it might actually be one of my favourite games of the generation.

An excellent VR rhythm game on-par with Beat Saber. It's got a brilliant soundtrack & great multiplayer too! Whilst it's not as much of a workout as Beat Saber can be on the higher difficulties, it's still a ton of fun & absolutely worth giving a go. It's free on PS Plus too. 😊

An excellent remaster of an already phenomenal game. With completely overhauled visuals, over 10 hours of freshly recorded dialogue & character animations, & smoother gameplay, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered more than justifies it's own existence and is absolutely worth the $10 upgrade.

I couldn't sleep & wanted a chill game I could easily play in bed on the PS Portal. I found Unpacking in the PS Plus catalogue & thought I'd give it a go as I'd heard it's an easy Platinum trophy too. I was very pleasantly surprised! Astro Bot made me want to go back to Sackboy, having started it years ago but not getting beyond the first world. Having now finished the game, with only 2 multiplayer trophies to get until the platinum, Sackboy A Big Adventure is a wonderful 3D platformer. I've got to be honest...I haven't made it through even 10% of the story here. Just Cause 3 is one of those games that I LOVE for abusing the open-world aspects & I honestly have no interest in pursuing the story as a result. Wow, the traversal, open-world exploration etc and overall vibe here are all excellent and I've spent hours doing nothing but terrorising the poor people of the island. 😅

CTR is an extremely fun game and the remaster is no different. Getting the platinum trophy on this was an excellent challenge that gave me a thrilling journey which lasted days, if not weeks.

2020 Warzone was incredible & some of the best multiplayer fun I've ever had. However, I found it to be let down by it's poor console optimisation, frequent game-breaking changes, and eventually stopped playing it as a result.

Like Marvel's Spider-Man, I won't ever get bored of the remaster. The improved framerate and visuals are incredible.

TLOU2 will traumatise you, make you cry, and make you feel every negative emotion possible, but that doesn't detract from the fact that it's a seriously good game with an incredibly written story that serves as an interesting sequel to the masterpiece original.

Rift Apart is a must-play for all PS5 owners, and is an excellent demo of what the new technology powering next-generation consoles is capable of when properly utlised.

Marvel's Spider-Man will be my favourite game of all time...for a very, very long time. I am able to boot this up again and again and never get bored of the swinging, combat or story. It truly does make you feel like Spider-Man.

Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales was the perfect launch title for the PlayStation 5. Whilst I was initially disappointed that by being on PS4 it would be held back from utilising the full power of the new console, the game was, and still is, extremely impressive from a visual standpoint. The story that accompanies the improved gameplay, is definitely not as great and impactful as the first, but it is still an exceptional adventure for the player, with many heartbreaking moments.

The Heist DLC for Marvel's Spider-Man 2018 is a very welcome addition to the franchise. Whilst the side content may be repetitive to some, the excellent voiceover work from Yuri Lowenthal and the rest of the cast ensures that you are always entertained as the player. The chemistry between Peter and Felicia is also an interesting thing to see unfold and will leave you wanting more.
