Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach feels like a true evolution of the first game. The combat is not only more frequent this time around, but also much more enjoyable, giving players a better balance between traversal and action. Traveling across the world has been refined too, with more advanced mechanics that let you get creative with the gear you unlock. Yes, some of the delivery gameplay can still feel repetitive, but what really keeps you engaged are the story driven encounters at each outpost. These narrative beats bring a sense of purpose to every journey. I personally spent around 50 hours just finishing the main story, and that’s without diving deep into the side quests each location has to offer. The standout elements, though, are the story itself, the incredible character design, and the breathtaking environments once again showcasing Kojima’s signature touch. Overall, Death Stranding 2 isn’t just an upgrade, it’s another milestone in Kojima’s creative legacy. I’d highly recommend it even if the first game didn’t quite click with you.
