The story is absolutely amazing with all the changes and returning characters and places. This game serves as the perfect reboot, with you not having to play the older games to understand what's going on. The story is fantastic with character arcs and the new ways the characters acquire their old features. There are lots of call backs to the old games and lots of returning characters. The gameplay is very refined as well especially with the new component, Kameos.
